The museum is the perfect place for an artistic session with the adventurous producer Oceanic and voice artist Greetje Bijma. Front's video team captured them in collaboration with Le Guess Who?.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">At first glance they are worlds apart, the young techno producer Oceanic and free jazz singer Greetje Bijma. Oceanic (Job Oberman) made a name for himself in recent years with progressive techno, in the circles around the Amsterdam club De School and the Rotterdam label Nous'Klaer. Greetje Bijma has been around for a while: since the eighties she has been releasing albums full of improvisation, falsetto and scat vocals. <em>Five Voices<\/em> (1989), <em>Tales of a Voice<\/em> (1991) and <em>Barefoot<\/em> (1993) are among her most highly regarded releases. After a chance meeting with Bijma, Pieter Jansen, label boss of yeyeh, brought the singer together with Oceanic. This year followed the joint album <em>Swallow A Party<\/em>, which hovers between new age, ambient, techno and jazz, and actually sounds exactly as its title suggests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session by Oceanic &amp; Greetje Bijma is part of Vunk On Vacation, an alternative travel program of the Le Guess Who? festival. Where in a normal year the festival visitor can be surprised by exciting acts in interesting places throughout Utrecht, this year the legendary Rotterdam DJ David Vunk takes them on a journey of discovery through the Dom city.
